Accreditation

Perritt Laboratories is accredited by A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 quality system for Mechanical Testing under a number of Child-Resistant Packaging Standards. Qualifications

Current members of Perritt Laboratories staff performed the method development testing in 1968 and 1969 leading to the testing protocols codified in the Poison Prevention Packaging Act of 1970.

Through three decades, Perritt Laboratories has provided special packaging compliance testing for the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Perritt Laboratories has successfully participated in USCPSC special packaging protocol Round Robin Testing.

Providing further method development, Perritt Laboratories performed the testing leading to the Child-Resistant Cigarette Lighter test protocol.

Perritt Laboratories again provided method development testing leading to the 1995 test protocol revisions to the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA).

Perritt Laboratories has successfully participated in ASTM-ISR special packaging protocol Round Robin Testing.

Members of Perritt Laboratories have been active in the globalization of Child-Resistant package testing standards.
