Perritt Laboratories

Dr. Alexander M. Perritt founded Perritt Laboratories in May of 1973 to perform testing of child-resistant packaging to the then newly enacted United States standards on Poison Prevention Packaging. He brought with him considerable expertise in the field while working on the development of the original protocol standards and testing methodology for evaluating child-resistant packaging. Dr. Perritt, a Ph.D. in microbiology from Syracuse University, was also able to pursue another passion by expanding Perritt Laboratories offerings in the form of microbiological testing with original facilities on Franklin Street in Hightstown, NJ.

As the company grew and their reputation for quality service increased throughout the industry, Perritt Laboratories moved to its present location on South Main Street in Hightstown, NJ. The staff continues to supply the highest quality of testing available in both child-resistant package testing and microbiological testing, along with the personalized service our clients deserve.
